The City of Whittlesea is located approximately 25 kilometres north of Melbourne’s CBD. Geographically, it is one of the larger municipalities of metropolitan Melbourne, covering an area of approximately 489 square kilometres.
There are 17 suburbs and 13 postal districts in the City of Whittlesea. The City embraces the townships of Donnybrook, Doreen, Eden Park, Epping, Humevale, Kinglake West, Lalor, Mernda, Mill Park, South Morang, Thomastown, Whittlesea township, Wollert, Woodstock, Yan Yean and parts of Beveridge and Bundoora.

From Melbourne’s CBD
- Train
Catch the Epping train line from Flinders Street Railway Station and get off at the final stop, Epping. -
Bus
Route 571 - South Morang to Roxburgh Park
From Epping train station, catch bus Route 571 and get off at the corner of McDonalds Road and Civic Drive. It is then only a short walk from the bus stop to the Council offices. Please refer to the Metlink website for current timetables.
