There's nothing like a dedicated mentor to encourage and support you in your professional development at the City of Whittlesea.

The mentoring program involves partnering a mentor and mentee to meet on a monthly basis and share experiences. Mentees receive the benefit of experience and guidance on how to meet challenges, manage projects and perform their role more effectively. Mentors are given the opportunity to develop their coaching and leadership skills, while helping others along their career journey.

Through this program, the City of Whittlesea aims to create an environment that encourages the sharing of experiences and the development of talent. In doing so, we hope to maximise the potential of our staff, cultivate future leaders, and improve the efficiency and value of the services we provide to the community.

We currently have 22 staff members participating in the Mentoring Program, ranging from lesser experienced staff to senior managers.
